Everything loved will last. At ATRIUM, we are carefully curating the very best collections of sustainable luxury and lifestyle design from all over the world. We consider the origins, impact and traceability of every piece we bring to our store to minimise our impact on people and planet.

But for all our searching, questioning and quality checking, consumption at pace is not sustainable. So we encourage you to slow it all down and purchase only what you love. Is it something you will treasure? Does it make you smile? Buying a pieces you truly love will ensure you will keep your piece for years to come. Because everything loved will last.

Sustainability is at the core of what we do at ATRIUM. Coming from a background in fast fashion, ATRIUM was born out of a desire to provide a platform for Irish and international designers who shared our ethos. We want to provide an ethical alternative to disposable fashion. Our approach is twofold - first considering the garments and pieces we manufacture ourselves, and secondly, undertaking thorough research into the brands we stock.

ATRIUM Collections

Since 2018, we have designed and produced our own in-house collection. Our first foray was a capsule collection titled 'Autonomy', of which all profits went to Dublin's Rape Crisis Centre.

We currently produce two collections each year. We make each piece in limited quantities to avoid unnecessary waste of materials and energy. When we produce pieces, we consider the manufacture, materials and carbon footprint of every piece to ensure we are are having minimal impact on people and planet.

Manufacture

All of ATRIUM pieces, apart from our knitwear, are made here in Dublin, not too far from our store. We know and respect each individual who helps make every beautiful piece. We are committed to fair pay and safe working conditions for every worker. Making in Dublin also allows us to minimise our carbon footprint.

Our knitwear is made in Nepal, by a women's collective. ***

Materials

We use natural fibres where possible. Natural fibres are better for the environment because they are biodegradable, and decompose naturally rather than contributing to landfill. They're also a renewable resource.

Key fabrics for us are eucalyptus silk, Irish linen, alpaca wool and end-of-line fabrics. You can read more about the fabrics we use here*I WILL BE ADDING A LINK TO A PAGE HERE*.

The Brands We Stock

As well as our own pieces, we hold a curated selection of Irish and international designers in store. We consider every brand carefully before we purchase. Every designer stocked in our store has met certain criteria, set out by us, to ensure that they share our values and ethos. This includes maintaining a transparent supply chain and a commitment that all employees are paid fairly and work in safe conditions.

We host quite variety of brands, so rather than breaking down their credentials here, we've outlined the reasons we love and believe in them on their respective product pages. If you have more questions, just ask! Hit us up at hello@atriumdublin.com.
